- REQUIRED ACCURACY : 14.02 - 14.10mm
- NUMBER OF CAVITY : 4
- AFTER SET-PROCESS, THE PART VARIATION FOUND TO BE : 14.03 to 14.08mm
- DRAWING TOLERANCE : 0.08 & 0.10
- VARIATION CAN BE CONTROLLED IN THE MACHINE WITHIN : 0.03mm
- PROCESS CAPABILITY WAS STUDIED IN THIS MACHINE & FOUND TO BE : Cpk = 2.053
This part has been tried out in many machines including Multi stage Speed & Pressure profile machines, but could not be controlled at this level of accuracy. The Rejection due to dimensional variation was high in other machines whereas this Part was found to be 100% acceptable and the Process was found capable within 0.03 variation with the capacity index of Cpk = 2.053.
